Resolve Common PC Errors
In some cases, your computer may generate an error message stating that the winamp 5.1 surround sound plug-in is present. There can be several reasons for this problem.
I have a Windows XBMC 7 computer connected to a 5.1 receiver via HDMI. do
I am a nice set of surround speakers and would like to be able to use as many speakers as possible when listening to music. In my xbmc I only get sound from the front speakers. I believe that all even versions can be 2.0, not just 2.1, since I can’t get the full effect of each of our subwoofers. definitely mp3
I used Winamp for listening, mostly because of an output plugin called winamp A3d.
) Plugin playing sound using Aureals 2 a3d.0 – 3.0 sound car or DS3D. It creates an intelligent sourceIR sound for each channel of the song, placing it in 3D space around the listener. The A3D 3.0 plugin can include an effect in the reverb of new music. The user can define a dilemma for sound sources using the plugin’s GUI, which is usually based on OpenGL.
This plugin is definitely exactly what I was looking for! I don’t use reverb, but it works great with all my speakers, not to mention the subwoofer. I would like to use this plugin in XBMC and stop using winamp my on HTPC.
I don’t know how difficult it would be to connect this to XBMC, but if anyone has any ideas or even knows another way to get the result, I’d like to get more data. A
As a side note, if anyone wants to take a look at the Winamp plugin, its UI is a bit buggy and doesn’t work properly when using modern peels, use Winamp’s classic skin to customize the plugin, and reset it to modern after configuration in case anyone prefers it.

In my opinion, this situation is the task of my receiver. I have never heard of many players using things like Dolby Pro-Logic DTS or in software and neo6, I think the algorithms are individual. Check for yourself, for example, if your receiver has HDMI inputs, and most also pseudo-volumetric pills like the ones I mentioned. DTS Neo6 Music in is undoubtedly interesting especially for most music lovers.
Many receivers can do what Negge suggests… this simple “volumetric” effect is based on the influence of certain analyzes/algorithms.
I object to any particular use of the term “fake surround as sound”, it’s definitely misleading… and of course some receivers may just mirror front speakers that also support rear speakers… indeed that can be useful.
I usedits for that, and I suspect some retailers have it too. Should I copy myself to a non-xbmc? secured.
+1 there. So it saves me when I say that I need to adjust the receiver settings every time I change the source.
If it had been done before, you wouldn’t have used our software to convert it to Dolby D or Neo 6 (or whatever), instead they would have converted it to multi-channel PCM which doesn’t require any proprietary formula
But in general, I agree that the primary recipient should take advantage of this opportunity, if at all.
Although my receiver converts 2.0 av audio to 5.1 (or 7.V if 1), honestly, the sound is quite positive. But… This only works when 2 gets its es.0. So if my wife and I say that I have 5.1 speakers, the device sends 5 sound over most HDMI lines. only 1, with surround and secondary channels, bu It’s quiet. Since the subwoofer and options are present, the sound is not scaled. I don’t think it works better with the XBMC functionality.

I think a modern sound engine will have a Stereo2Surround upmix line, but I’m not sure.

According to the group, this is due to the operation of the receiver. I have never heard of players using parts such as Dolby Pro-Logic or DTS In neo6 software and I assume these algorithms are proprietary. You can try it yourself, if your receiver has HDMI inputs, it certainly also has pseudo-surround amplifiers like the one I mentioned. DTS Neo6 Music is especially suitable for most types of music.
With windows designed and engineered for 5.1 surround sound, XBMC seems to have 2-channel music andIn XBMC usually 6 (5.1) separate routes are created. Unfortunately, only 2 of them have sound. This means that your receiver may not emulate a 2-channel signal and record 5-channel surround sound because it “thinks” it is actually receiving 5.1(6) channels of audio. This is good (receiver Marantz So sr5002). I don’t think it’s a cap on the receiver and as I said in my original post it works fine in Winamp with a specific A3d plugin (I mean great if you have a 5.8 install give it a try you’ll be kidding , how cool)Click here to download the software that will fix your PC.
