  • Maintenance Plan Failed [SQLSTATE 42000] (error 22029)

We have an idea for a service that runs every 15 minutes and backs up the transaction log. If a thought sometimes doesn’t give a message:
“sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (error 22029). Phase failure.
This is the only voice error in all the logs. I have checked event viewer, sql error logs, exception log, maintenance plan log and sysdbmainplan_history table around msdb but can’t find any important information. I checked MSDN for information about this error, and it did not add to the severity of the problem.
Does anyone have a new idea on how to debug this key fact about Ainsley?

Stuart Maintenance Plan [SQLSTATE 42000] (Bug 22029) (Response)

I have the same problem. I checked the history but it no longer tells me when you already have it, nor does the main event log and the SQL error log. Did you solve the problem?

We have a maintenance system that runs every 15 minutes to back up the transaction log. This tool intermittently crashes with the message:
“sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 22029). Maneuver failed.”
This is the only marketing error found in any newspaper. I have checked event viewer, sql error logs, exception report, maintenance plan log and sysdbmainplan_history table via msdb but can’t find any other information. I have checked MSDN for this bug and have not added any further details about this issue.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix the above error?

I had a real problem with maintenance plans a few weeks ago after investing in SQL 2K. The difficulty was that the work was generally successful and there were no errors constantly (ie, at the same time every day). I’ve looked at your current bad jobs, opened each step, and set “Run as” to “myself” my account URL with running SQL (although all of our work was set to run as that user would do). I don’t know why, but it seems to have worked for me. HTN

I report the problem immediately. I look closely at the history but it doesn’t tell people more than you already know, none of them keep an event log and you see the SQL error log. Have you already solved the problem?

We have a real maintenance schedule that runs every fifteen minutes to protect the transactional document cent. It intermittently fails with their message:
“sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (error 22029). Step failed.
This is a type of error message that can only be found in one of the logs. I have looked in event viewer, sql error log, exception log, maintenance plan log and desktop sysdbmainplan_history in msdb but can’t find any further information. I’ve searched, I’d say, MSDN for information on this process error, and it didn’t shed any more light on the problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this error?

  • Maintenance Build Failed [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 22029) (Response)

I posted my problem with this question. my interview. The plan often failed with the same problem. I stopped saving my trance firewood with my database. Once I did that, my backup plan worked. I didn’t need a separate translog backup for the mailing lists I backed up.

There are two things, if I may. so to speak, which led me to this conclusion. I first ran the following query and checked the messages for failed saves. I noticed that anyone who had them on I would call the translog and not the database :

select database_name, action, start time, message
    from msdb..sysdbmaintplan_history
where error_number is 0 <-- this channel is optional Second, I read “BOL Transaction Log Backups”. This tells me that I only need an up-to-date translog backup if I try to restore it at some point after creating the homebrew database. If I have trans regarding backup. log, I plan to do it separately in the new maintenance. scheduled to start off-database backup. I hope this makes sense.

We have a maintenance program that runs every 15 minutes to create a transaction log. Specifically, it crashes intermittently with the message:
“sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (error 22029). Access errorpa.
This is the only error message found in the specific log. I have checked event viewer, sql error logs type, exception log, repair and maintenance plans log, sysdbmainplan_history msdb table but can’t find any additional messages. I checked MSDN for facts and methods on this error and was unable to shed any light on the problem.
