Launch the “my12345678” folder following the navigation tree in the left frame to the following path:
Double-click the DefaultSettings.XResolution heading and optionally select the Decimals radio button in the dialog box. Enter the external resolution of your choice in the new “Data Value:” text box; for the timeline “1152” (without quotes) with the resolution set to 1152 filter pixels.
Double-click the DefaultSettings the.YResolution heading and simply click the Decimal radio button in the exact dialog box. Enter the desired vertical resolution of the image in the “Data Value:” text box; e.g. “863” (without quotes) to set the maximum screen resolution to 863.
Close the Computer Registry Editor. Restart the relevant computer to apply the settings.
Create a backupopium registry before anyone makes any changes with a PC editing utility. Click the “File” tab in the Registry Editor menu, select “Export” from the context menu, locate the file, and click the “Save” button. You can restore certain factory settings from a file in case the resolution change causes early problems on your computer.
Where is the permission stored in the Windows registry? screen I found this, but I’m not sure if it’s relevant:

Get A Higher 1024 X 768
resolution with this computer registry hack
Many netbooks and laptopscome with a standard resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels (or equivalent) for small screens, which causes problems in some applications or requires a lot of scrolling. To increase the total screen area on a user’s netbook, or to use applications that require a higher resolution display, advanced registration allows for higher settings during resolutions.
How To Make A Specific Registry Change
You may have heard warnings about the risks associated with editing the registry, and they may be valid – you don’t want to mess around with the registry without knowing what you’re doing. However, this case change is probably not difficult.
First, try changing most screen resolutions on Windows using Control Panel to see if higher resolutions are available. If not, please support these registry changes in an accessible, higher resolution version.
Scroll up the left pane to access the top of the registry tree.
Go to “Edit” and select “Search”. Enter Display1_DownScalingSupported in the search box and click Next. The search may take some time.
If this machine key is missing, see the section below on how to add it exactly.
In the allowed range, select Display1_DownScalingSupported.
Go to Edit but select Edit (or double click on the factor name) and in the Data Value business line, change 0 to 1.
Change the value of each instance to the keys found in your own search; Otherwise, the hack may not work.
When finished reboot your computer.
When your corporate computer restarts and you change the resolution, you will see that your device is set to 1024 x 768 and 1152 x 864 in addition to the previous resolutions.
If The Registry Key Is Missing
If the client did not find this key resister, combine it yourself. To add one registry key, create a new Display1_DownScalingSupported DWORD value in each registry site key.
The first key can be found at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Class > 4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318 > 0000datatype=”code”>
On a specific Lenovo S10-3T, the key is indeed located in one of two or more places:
Go to Edit and choose > New DWORD Value (32-bit).
In the Yes section, change the name of the new value #1 to Display1_DownScalingSupported and enter the new media.
Select Display1_DownScalingSupported and press Enter. In the window that opens, set the data value to 1.
Repeat the previous suggestions for each of the following addresses, if they exist (any may exist that are not created by them), and change all values to 1.Control.
hkey_local_machinesystemcurrent SetControlClass4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318 001data typex=”code”> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrent Control SetControlClass4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318 002datatype=”code”>
Restart your computer.
Go to “Display Settings” and under “Resolution” change the situation to a higher resolution.
If the original resolution of the best netbook is 1024 x 600, expanding it further using unique registry tweaks will result in poorer appearance, but applications that require a higher resolution will be displayed.
If this savepoint is missing, see the instructions below on how to add it in the next step.
Change the value of each key value normally found during the lookup. Otherwise, the hack may not work.Click here to download the software that will fix your PC.
